The sales paperwork for my bike says it is a CTX700NDE.

Anybody know what the heck the E indicates? I struck out Googling this.

This actually has come up on the forum once before. If memory serves me right, the general consensus was it was a dealer code. Could be a paint code.

I also found referances to 2014 Honda CTX700E/LE

 

It denotes that it is a 2014 model. According to the dealer I got mine from, the last letter indicates the model year, and it is sequential. 2015 models will have an 'F' appended to their model IDs.

I remember when I ordered mine in March and the dealer noted that he was ordering a CTX700De. The "e" was their model designation for order purposes.

It really means that you need to reset your discumbobulater. To do this you will not be able to ride your bike for 7 months, 8 days, and 9 minutes.

 

You know, I've heard of that. But I think I read somewhere that if you tweak things a bit with an algorithm spanner wrench, you can keep riding. I'll test & let you know.
