I recently installed a Throttlemeister throttle control on my CTX700. It works fine. You will not find a model on the Throttlemeister websited listed for the CTX700, but the model for the NT700/NC700 will work. I talked to Steve at Throttlemesiter and they probably will list one for the CTX700 soon.

If you do make the purchase, you don't need to use the provided bushing on the throttle tube end. To install the bushing invovles removing the flange on the end of the throttle tube, but, as I said, it works fine without this bushing.

Feel free to contact me if you wish to know more. I have had a Throttlemeister on two of my bikes and find it a simple, good looking and reliable throttle control.

The TM is a well made product, problem is it takes time to release and does not work well unless the roads are flat. I had one on the C14, but now have plans for the Brakeaway.
