Quick question... I want to add the rear carrier to my bike.
Rear carrier: 08L70-MJF-A00ZP

From reading other posts it seems that the above part number alone by itself doesn't work. Do I have to add these additional parts just to make it work?
Backrest brackets: 08R71-MJF-A00ZP
Inner supports: 08L72-MJF-A00

I ask because 325 bucks seems crazy just to add a carrier!

You don't need the inner supports if you have the passenger grab handles. They are attached to the inner support.

The N model does require the inner supports to mount the rear carrier and backrest brackets. The fairing model comes standard with them.
