I probably should have known that the DCT didn't even have a clutch lever on the handlebar. I did not do my research.

Don't feel too bad, I saw a published article on a bike once, with lots of researched and pasted info and authoritative conclusions. I kept thinking, it didn't sound like he actually rode on the bike.
I forget which model, but the first paragraph after one picture clearly showing the parking brake lever up, no clutch lever, no shift peg, and visible ABS timing ring, the reporter lamented that it was too bad that model didn't come with ABS or DCT.
Then I wondered why it took me that long to close the page and move on.
