A manufacturing error in the Honda CTX700 that causes ABS malfunction is resulting in the recall of 235 2014 Honda CTX700 bikes. Anyone with a Honda CTX700 manufactured between March 6, 2013 and April 11, 2013 might want to call Honda (1-800-999-1009), as dealers will replace the ABS modulator free of charge. The Anti-Lock Brake System can lose anti-lock functionality, resulting in wheel lock up, skidding and obviously a riskier ride.
Recall begins July 30, 2013.

only 235 bikes? Jeep just recalled millions I think. So did Chevy and Ford. This bike just came out and they got into the fix pretty fast. Good for Honda.

and Yes, this has been covered by many posts before yours.

I took my CTX in to the Honda dealer to have the ABS Modular replaced. They had told us it would be a 3 hours job. Because they had never done one before it took them a day to do the work.

According to an earlier article, which was covered in another thread, this same defective Nissin part is already affecting Suzuki Hyabusa and Kawasaki Ninja 250. A consumer commented at the bottom of one of those articles that there is also a recall on his Ninja 300. I'd say this is just the beginning.
