I was looking at premade tank protectors for my ctx but the only ones I could find where very expensive from the states. I decided after watching a you tube video on making tank protectors to make my own. I used a premade anti slip ribbed rubber mat cost $10 aud.
Thanks guys im quite pleased with them. I was going to ask the previous owner stuck some stick on neoprene on the rear to stop saddle bags wearing the paint on the side any ideas how I remove it. I want to put this stuff on its place
Depends how it was stuck on as to how easily it can be removed.... Start off with placing it in the sun for an hour or so to try to warm up the adhesive. Then like any sticker, gently peal it. Use goo-gone or something similar to remove the rest of the residue. Then a good coat of wax.
