My front brake makes a noise at low speed stops.
Do these pads and rotors take a bit to seat themselves.

Maybe.

Just get going pretty fast (50-60) and grab the brake fairly hard and do about half a dozen hard stops. That should bed the pads in.

Just make sure tires are warm, road is clean and dry and you are going straight and if you grab them too hard you will crash that is unless you have ABS and you might not.

Mine make a little noise and since I use the rear more around town slow driving I figure the front is not fully seated yet or simple dust in there from lack of use. I wound not worry about it as long as it functions as it should. My 2 cents worth.

The bike only has 40 miles so far. It will make the noise even when I'm pushing it around the garage and use a little brake pressure.

Just don't remember hearing brake noise on my previous 3 bikes, the last of which was a Honda VTX 1800.

Thanks.
