The reason I bought exhaust with removable baffles is that I can repack it with better fiberglass mats and make sound more throaty and respectable. Fiberglass packs are the key here. The exhaust without removable baffle will burn preinstalled fiberglass in 2 weeks as they're "budget" crap. And you'll be stuck with high pitch annoying sound forever after ...
There is no fiberglass in mine. It's all steel. It reduces noise through internal chambers and baffles. It will be quiet forever.

It's more throaty than stock and only very slightly louder. I like quiet and I'm happy with it.

Thoughts? My new CTX already had a Radiant Shorty on it... and I feel it's far too loud for my neighborhood at 6:30am on weekends before work. Looking for a value priced way to decrease volume.
The one I bought looks great and the internal baffle means you'll never have to repack it and it's not too loud.

There are two problems. One, you'll want to make a bracket going to the footpeg. I plan to do this with steel, but bending aluminum would be much easier.

The other problem is the adapter sleeve sucks. It doesn't really seal without putting some gasket material on there. Trying to find a better solution.

You've inspired me to try am Emgo exhaust too. I just bought the reverse cone muffler. It's about 2" shorter and has permanent mechanical baffles. I'm hoping it's more quiet than the one you got. I'd also like access to the axle bolt without having to remove the exhaust. We'll see.

$57 on Amazon worth a try.
