Hello, Does anyone know if the hard panniers on the CTX 700 and 1300 are the same size. I had the 1300 last year and purchased interior bag for the panniers, but have downsized to the CTX 700 (Which I pick up this weekend). I sold the inner bags last year and I am looking to buy them again. If there the same size as the 1300, I can just go back to my previous source for the bags or else I have to start doing research to find what bags will fit the CTX 700 panniers.

Sorry to say that the panniers of the CTX1300 are completely different in both shape and size from the OEM Honda panniers for the CTX700.

Please post photos of your new 700 once you have it! We love photos.

Since the Honda CTX700 bags are extremely hard to find now and Givi no longer is making their side mounts your choices are JFC brackets or Shad. Unless you can find the factory mounts and bags used you're limited or you can fabricate your own mounts. If you have the N model you will need the reinforcement plates before mounting bags. Thanks. The bike already has the saddle bags. What I'm looking for are soft liner bags for the inside. Makes it easier when you are touring to take your cloths into the hotel. I had the CTX1300 and believe or not the bags for the Harley Glide fit perfectly. Looking to seek if anyone makes liners for the CTX700?

TDAAEXH, I believe Honda's OEM bags for the CTX700 were the same as those for the NC700 and 750. So I'd search for bag liners for the NC bikes, rather than for the CTX700; you'll get more 'hits' that way.

You can always just carry those OEM bags in. They come off in 10 seconds very easy.
