So I just bought my CTX 700 this week (picked it up Thursday). I had already ordered the Bestem red topcase. I've been studying how to mount it and getting everything ready to go for today (Saturday). Mounting wasn't the problem, but like mentioned here, attaching the lights to the brake circuit stumped me. I didn't want to tear EVERYTHING off that the manual said I needed to, but I discovered you don't have to. The plug that attaches the turn/brake light is just under the left side back side "fender", under the hand hold/saddlebag mount. So I took off the saddlebag mount and hand grip, and there it is right in front of you. (you don't have to take off the rear center cowling and the rear fender completely. You can access the plug wires easily. You want the solid green (ground), and the green/yellow (hot when the brakes are applied). I spliced right into them and presto...brake lights. I am out of time tonight, but I'll try and post pics later. I was surprised how easy this was
