CTX700 -Givi tall windshield

HI folks,
Recently i replaced my original short windshield on the full flared model and I see excessive vibration/buffeting?
at 60+mph speeds. Infact the original one seemed to work much better. Wondering what may be the issue.
Btw, while replacing I may have broken a couple of plastic clips (that hold in place) and also re-inserted
the rubber stripe that existed on the original one but did NOT on the Givi one. Wondering what may be
going on here. I feel like my helmet is getting hit with LOT more wind at 60+mph. Please help.

howdy and welcome to the forum
i've got 22,000 or so miles on mine and have used that original shorty plus the stock tall and one that has been discontinued. i found the same as you that the buffeting from the original shorty was straightforward where the increased helmet jumping with the larger screens was more problematic in that it jostles the helmet enough to effect my vision and comfort. my opinion may not be the politically correct, but i think the buffeting is now coming from below. you may want to consider lowers of some kind to help in that regard.

lotsa miles and smiles to ya
