Just to introduce myself, picked up a 2014 CTX700 last week to replace my NT700. Miss the shaft drive of the NT700 but love the 6th gear on the CTX700. Looking forward to seeing what farkles can be added to this bike although I really can't see a need for too many additions. I will be browsing through here to look at hard bag suggestions, on a budget, the soft bags that came with the bike tend to come apart at the zippers. I have added a top box, phone holder, and cup holder so hard bags and floorboards are about the only thing left.
I tool around the Knoxville, TN area some, up to London KY and down to Helen GA and all parts in between. I look forward to running into some of our members or at least fellow CTX riders and learning all I can about this bike as I ride.
If you like soft bags check out the Nelson Rigg. Great bags, hi quality, fair price, great zippers holds up good. I used a pair for 6 years, sold the bike, gave the bags to my son in law, he love's 'em too.
