Hmmm, now you have me wondering about our ďsingular topic of conversationĒ! Lol.
When a bunch of old guys get together that have common ground, they end up talking about girls. I say that facetiously, of course.
I can see it now! If there was an agenda it might go something like this:
2:00 to 2:05 Introductions
2:05 to 2:15 Discussion of CTX
2:15 to 2:45 Discussion about girls
2:15 to 4:45 Discussion about girls with CTXís
4:45 to ??? Drowning our sorrows having to decide between the two.

Seriously though, this meeting is going to be a highlight for me.

Sorry Glenn, hate to disagree, but when a bunch of old men get together it's usually:
Discussion of "Pain" and "Aches"
Discussion "Medications"
Discussion "Procedures" I had or need
Discussion "Surgeries" I had, need, or am considering

... and of course the ever popular Prostrate, getting up at night to piss
... and Viagra

Drinking commences immediately upon arrival.

I'll excuse myself when the complaining starts and we can go talk with the women who don't want to hear it.

Gotta give you props for that!
Your scenario sounds more realistic. Lol

It is called "Rusty Bellies" and I've been there several times since it opened about 15 years ago. Here is their website:

Rusty Bellies Waterfront Grill

I'll call for a confirmation of attendees near the end of next week so as to make us a reservation if need be.
Well, it is a good thing we're meeting post-lunch because I've since found out there's no reservations or call-ahead seating there. Our guest of honor (since he's travelling the farthest!) as suggested we back the meeting time to 1:30pm, so let it be done!

We'll gather in one of their parking lots. I'll be in my new white Kia Soul instead of with my trike, so I'm hoping someone will be on their bike (weather permitting). So if you are bringing your bike, shout out and let me know what time you think you will be arriving. There's lots right in front and to the south side of the eatery, so I'm not sure where we'll be. So just watch out for a small group of overweight "Q-tips" who look hungry!!

I'll have my cell, which is 2-one-8, seven-89-six-32-one.

Hmmm, actually thereís another person thatís actually travelled further.
1:30 is fine. I look forward to it. Iíll be the overweight Q-tip wearing the leopard skin speedo.
Actually, Iíll have my red F450 truck with me. Hopefully it wonít be too hard to find.

Okay, this is my final reminder about "The Gathering" in Tarpon Springs this Sunday afternoon @1:30pm at the Rusty Bellies Grill. Once again, here is their website:

Rusty Bellies Waterfront Grill

This is my "final" call for any more confirmations of attendence. Drop me a PM if you haven't posted here and/or already sent me one. That way we'll know when all have arrived that intend to arrive and we can stop milling around in the parking lot!

I am close by but I am scheduled to be on call for this weekend so I am out. Be prepared for a crowd. I rode down to Pass a Grille beach last Saturday and it was packed full. Snowbird tourist season is in full swing down here. I counted over 8 different states and a few Canadian license plates represented parked along the beach.

Them **** Canadians! And donít get me started on those snowbirds either. Curses they are!
But what to say about the crowds. Itís a necessary evil, I suppose. Restaurants, mid afternoon, should be okay. Plus, I heard that snowbirds arenít known to be loose with their wallets.
I jest, of course, and Iím looking forward to the rendezvous with my forum friends.

I've put up with dem birds ever since I got here in 1956 (not a typo!) which is one reason I suggested a post lunch start for our gathering.
