What do you store in that miniscule storage compartment.

I have yet to figure out what to put in the mini compartment.

I keep a pair of cheap home depot clear safety glasses encased in an old cotton sock in case I get caught out at night and also a spare pair of 3M ear plugs. Even with a full face helmet ear plugs are a must. Eye protection is mandatory in Florida and I was told by an FHP officer that having a windshield does not qualify as eye protection in Florida. A Ruger LCP 380 fits nicely as backup for those that don’t understand the word “no”!!! I am not waiting for the cops. Some would say I am paranoid but I think prepared is a better description.

I keep a plastic sleeve that holds my registration and insurance card, and my biker's angel pin in there.

The plastic puck for the kick-stand doesn't make sense unless you can get it while still sitting when you need one, and fits there real nice. I'd say the same for the Ruger, but I don't own one. Some heavy duty twist ties under that just because they're small and work there.

I can get tools, Snap-jack, rain gear/glasses, tire repair kit, and other stuff from the "half a side-bag" after parking and getting off the bike.

The registration and insurance is in a separate locked license plate holder. Any police who need that can start simmering down while they wait for me to unlock it, and if they want to insist on holding my bike key they can get it their self.

I have a flashlight, headlamp, folding knife and a small raincoat. These are the stuff I might need to get asap when mounted on the bike. Also I'm not going to get pumped up if it gets stolen.
