My ctx is only a few months old, fuel pump is getting noisy, after riding a bit and stopping, shutting motor off. Then turning the key back on, it has quitted down. Should I be worried

What do you mean by noisy? The fuel pump can be heard priming before the engine is started.

Should be like a 3 second humm you hear as it primes when you turn the key. Then press the starter. I always wait until after the humm stops before I try to start. Same procedure on my Honda rubicon atv.

Might depend on how much gas is in the tank, if it is full it might be a little quieter due to the gas muffling the sound, I never paid that much attention to mine so I don't know for sure, just a thought for what it's worth
