Anyone who has Plasti-dipped parts on their motorcycle .....

I been thinking about Plasti-dipping my OEM saddlebags since one is scratched up from dropping it last year, I just wondering how well it holds up because I have never plasti-dipped anything and only was planning on doing the outside covers not the whole saddlebag

Remarkable stuff. I have it on my lower fairings and it is also on the inside of my upper fairing creating the blacked out look. I used spray cans.
Still good after 28k miles.

Don't use it on anything that gets any friction, it will easily peel off on you. If you do use it on anything, put it on fairly thick. Otherwise thin coats are hard to remove.

I had it on my rear wheels for awhile. Looked pretty good and held up quite well. @Rebel13 is right about putting it on heavy. I did about 5 coats as I remember. I cover it in my trike thread in some detail.

It came off quite readily with my little electric pressure washer when I changed my mind about the look.

I did my bike about 6months ago and it still looks great. You will deffinatly want to use med to heavy coats, a minimum of 6 was recommended when I did mine.
