Interchangeable parts?

New to the forum, been lurking for a while. Will be looking to purchase a used ctx automatic, but I really like the model that came in white, but apparently was not offered as an automatic. Does anyone have any idea if the farings, gas tank, etc.. are interchangeable to make whatever color bike I get, white?
Thanks.

The white body panels on the manual version can be swapped in for the stock red or blue one on hte dct version however it would cost about $1700 to buy a full set. A cheaper option would be have the stock panels painted.

I went the super cheap option converting mine to white and did plastidip with their gloss clearcoat. For under $100 incl all cleaning and prep materials it came out reasonably well. The result was a "Harley" quality finish that looks much better than anything from a can should.

Yup, every piece is interchangeable across the years.
If you can get a " "Harley" quality finish" from Plastidip, go for it.
Harley paint quality is among the highest on any bike.

I thought about going to Plasti dip route I've done quite a few things like that on my truck but did you Plasti dip the gas tank? How did that come out?

So after all the work of making your bike look nice, it started leaking oil? I'd change it back, ASAP!

My 1 year plasti-dipped tank is a little scuffed up from both my coat zipper or my boots if I have to get on with my camping gear strapped down on the back. I don't feel the need to re-do it yet, though there are areas that are wearing faster than others and a few spots peeling from impact/abrasion. Now I know where to pay extra attention second time around.

Saw a video on either FB or YouTube of an Asian lady shrink wrapping car parts, and a whole car, with shiny, metallic, shrink wrap, in bright colors. Thought to myself "If they made it in a Pearlescent White, I might try that." Nah! too much like work.
