Question CTX700N - scuff marks

Dear All,
New forum member here from Sydney, Australia. I have a 2014 CTX700N. Recently as result of non-standard soft luggage rubbing on the matt black finish, I now have scuff marks on the rear & side around the rear of the seat. Is there a way to remove or fix such scuff marks?

Welcome to the forum Wickersham. It all depends on how deep they go. There are repair kits on the market that will do the job but these are not for the faint at heart. Touch up paint and touch up clear coat is available from Honda. Light scratches can be hidden using some of the aftermarket products out there but these only hide them. For anyone thinking of installing soft bags, it important to protect your paint using clear protective automotive film.

I found the the "High Temp Paint" sold by Rust-Oleum is a dead ringer for the flat black of all the engine area. The other more shiny blacks need to be matched! I have the can pictured in my Gallery page and what it looks like on the OEM exhaust!
