Deer Avoidance System

I just found a great deal on a deer avoidance system. (Not to be confused with a DEAR avoidance system). I found it at Goodwill for 15 bucks.

Anybody else using a electric system and what do you think of the technology?

Interesting item. I had my first longish ride on my CTX this morning after owning the bike for only a week. I left the city and rode through the countryside and saw 4 deer on this two hour ride. One was recently dead on the side of the road, the other three crossed the road ahead of me, each a separate event.

Supposed to have been a guy here in Indiana back in March that hit two deer and then got run over by a truck.

And I thought I was the only one ....
Lots of deer here...everywhere off the side of the road. I have a friend who teaches "safety" at a university and after seeing my CTX a week later I ran into him and he said "I don't know whether to hug ya or slug ya...I bought a CTX after seeing yours...(Mine)" The first three things he did was reflectorized tape, running lights, and deer whistles up front.
