Thumbs up MRA windshields

Anyone out there have one of these for their CTX? I was at the Twisted Throttle factory store today, and they have this windscreen made specifically for the CTX700N. Not sure I want a windscreen, but this one seemed well made for the price - $125 with all mounting gear. I even like that it has tinting to prevent the sun from melting the instrument panel. If you have this windscreen, please let me know what you think..much appreciated.
By the way Twisted Throttle has a lot of nice hard and soft cargo solutions for bikes as well as several universal-mount windscreens if you are looking.

Thanks in advance,

Bill

I have the solid black MRA windscreen on my naked CTX. I like it. It's just tall enough to take the wind off of my chest, yet I still have the naked bike feel. If that makes any sense.
It's well made, but I think it might be a bit overpriced for what it is.
Overall, I'd buy it again because I like it.

I have a MRA X-Creen touring that I kept from my CTX1300 for my brand new 2017 CTX700D that I got yesterday. Today I put on a Cee Bailey 24 inch with vent. It is almost the same height as the CTX 1300 Honda tall OEM and the X Creen combined!

I may not have to use the xcreen but if I will keep it just in case. Really like the xcreen though/

Thanks for the feedback Thench and Stangflyer. Glad to hear you like the screens. I have not decided if I plan to go with the windscreen as I am not particularly bothered by wind buffeting - been riding without a wind screen for 40 years, but I could see it coming in handy now that I'm getting a little older.

Windscreen not very important for your bike

MRA Windscreen is nice piece for nothing. For CTX700N or another cruiser of this class, windscreen don't make any difference for wind pressure, because your bike is cruiser and not protected from the bottom, like, for example, Honda ST1300. I sold my baby,CTX700N with MRA windscreen and I paid around 150$ plus tax and shipping for that. Between us, this bike don't need any windscreen, because is no difference riding with screen or without. Trust me. Enjoy the wind and ride safe.

That's a good looking screen. Looks like it should be oem. I like my screen enough to keep it (Puig). It does keep the wind off my torso when interstate riding and that means more comfortable saddle time.

I love the looks of this screen but after buying and installing my 22" Madstad, and seeing how even small adjustments in the height and angle make a huge difference, I'd have a hard time thinking this MRA would automatically do the trick for everyone. Your height and position all have a huge bearing on how effective any windscreen will be for any one of us, don't they?
